Exploration Solutions
Terracorp and Quantec Geoscience are pleased to offer a variety of exploration solutions to applications in mineral exploration, geothermal exploration, and oil and gas exploration based on our primary technologies such as: Titan 24 Deep Earth Imaging, Spartan Deep Resistivity Imaging, and Quantec Ground Geophysics. With numerous projects completed around the world, our definition of success is geared to our customer’s objectives. Terracorp and Quantec help our clients with discovery through the application of advanced, innovative, proprietary technologies and methods.
TITAN 24 Deep Earth Imaging
-
Ideal application for grassroots and brownfield exploration;
-
The Titan 24 MT& DCIP system images to 700 m with IP and Resistivity and Quantec cuts its MT results off at a limit of 1.5 km;
-
The technology has been proven to assist in accurate and cost-effective drill targeting for a variety of economic mineral deposits;
-
Very effective on exploration in and next to active and operating mines;
-
It is the most advanced electrical earth imaging technology to date;
-
Ideal for gold, massive sulphides, copper, diamond, nickel, uranium, zinc and structural mapping.
Spartan Deep Resistivity Imaging
-
Application on larger scale reconnaissance projects such as regional, semi-regional, geothermal, oil and gas exploration, or whole earth geoscience applications;
-
Depth of investigation ranging from 400 m to 10 km and more;
-
No environment impact (no noise, physical or chemical damage);
-
Low cost if compared with other methods;
-
Flexible and adaptable survey design (simple logistics);
-
Data acquisition is not compromised by dense vegetation;
-
MT models can be integrated with seismic, gravimetric, magnetometric, superficial geological and drilling data sets.
Quantec Ground Geophysics (other methods)
-
CSAMT (Controlled Source Audiomagnetotellurics);
-
Gravity;
-
IP (Induced Polarization – IP / Resistivity);
-
TEM (Time Domain Electromagnetics);
-
Magnetics;
-
Radiometrics;
- VLF (Very low frequency).
